A pelican perches on the Muelle Principal, waiting for the lights to come on at dusk. The waters below the pier come alive with small fish that are attracted to the lights. The small fish, in turn, attract black-tipped reef sharks that put on a nightly show. It's amazing to watch the pelicans following their instincts and diving after the sharks, which range in size from three to six feet long.
