Parque Seminario, also known as Parque Bolívar, is in many ways the quintessential Latin American plaza, with manicured gardens, a grandiose cathedral on one side, ice cream vendors, and the requisite equestrian statue of Simon Bolívar in the center. But upon closer inspection, you will see that the lawns, trees, and pathways are teeming with hundreds of iguanas.
