A lazy day in Puerto Ayora. While most people visit the Galápagos on a cruise or an organized tour, I chose to do it independently, staying in a hotel in Puerto Ayora and booking day tours when I felt like it. Instead of keeping to a rigourous schedule on an enforced itinerary, I had the freedom to be like this sea lion and just enjoy being in paradise. It also worked out to a fraction of the cost of a cruise.
