Fresh fish, such as Pez Bruja, is one of the great treats to be found in the Calle de los Quioscos in Puerto Ayora, the main town of the Galápagos Islands. I sat down at one of the big tables for a delicious dinner of pez brujo that filled the plate. Another plate on the side had rice, vegetables, and french fries. The cold Pilsener beer was perfect after the long hot day of travel. After dinner, I walked through the backstreets of Puerto Ayora, enjoying the warm evening air and the happy glow of being in Galápagos.
