Next to the ruins of Ingapirca is a trail that makes a circuit around the "Canyon of the Sun," known in Quechua as Intihuaico and in Spanish as the Quebrada del Sol. The trail passes by five important Inca landmarks, referred to as bienes culturales, or "cultural goods." The trail was well marked, with interpretive signage in Spanish, Quechua, and English. This is one of the landmarks, a part of Ingachungana, a rock wall whose Quechua name means "Game of the Inca." Over the centuries, this large boulder became detached from the rest of the wall a few hundred feet away. It has a long carving in the side that resembles a chain and a flattened area in the front that appears to be a seat.
